Anyone have a problem with the no defrost when selected? Seems to be stuck in Vent mode all the time.....when i put the switch in Defrost position the A/C switch LED illuminates and the compressor comes on so i have to assume the position switch is working...... Blower motor is working properly...
and it sounds like the air door motor works as i can hear it but the doors dont seem to change all the way [would be the best way to explain it]
You have to remove the Passager side panel and the ducts the gearing for the motor fell off and blend doors not working properly need to time the gearing back and put a small self taper thru the middle that way it will not fall apart again happens all the time.
You won’t be able to see the gears you can feel around when looking at panel left hand corner towards front of can you should feel the plastic gear hanging off
Your correct....but worse....that is what must have happened originally but someone just never bothered to put the gear back. (Its gone) I think they took this one step further and removed the center door as well?? Is there not supposed to be 3?
