If you’re forcing regens and clearing codes you have other things going on. At some point you’re going to have to address the issues with the system instead of covering them up. You can address them properly or permanently but they will need addressed. And one option is considerably cheaper than the other.

 

I have the OTR tool but pay for the yearly app subscription so that it tells you the codes/what the issue is versus just resetting it hoping the problem goes away.....


It's $500/yearly but IMO well worth it especially if you don't mind changing sensors etc by yourself, maybe for someone that goes to a mechanic for everything it would be a waste of money...

 

I guess I need someone to tell me what “Degen mode” is.

New one on me.

@Ikamob01 if u mean derate... the OTR tool should get you out of derate when it clears the codes, that's the whole point of OTR tool is so you can actually roll somewhere to get it fixed instead of dead duck on the shoulder. if the codes are bad enough obviously they'll come back in a minute but the whole point of OTR tool is to either 1. get you out of derate so you can move or 2. force a parked regen manually
