Probably not going to get any info about deletes. The owner does not want it discussed on their website.

Unplug the main harness from the ecm and then cut all the ties that keep the wires inside the driver side frame rail. You should have 6ft of wire to stretch out in front of your firewall once everything is loose. Then start inspecting wires. Chances are they kinked one or one rubbed a bare spot.

I bought the truck I have now with 244k on it. The previous owner chased phantom codes like you describe until they pulled the main harness and inspected each wire. Peterbilt in Garden City told me they’ve seen this issue on quite a few MX powered trucks. It seems they bundle the wire up too tight inside the frame rail and causes some pinching and kinking. Happy hunting.

You bet. Hope that cures it. I’ve put 223k on mine since I’ve had it (has 467k total) and knock on wood I haven’t had any issues. I know the previous owner and they would just clear the code and he’d keep trucking. It ran fine, it would just have the light on.
