I have never delivered to a Lowes store. I have delivered to quite a few Menard's stores. If I park anyhere close to the gate, the security guard will knock on my door by 5:30am to come in and unload. I am no, by any means in the way. I just think they want to get me unloaded before the store opens and it starts to get busy.

for Flatbed on lowes, they started a corporate policy that they do not unload before X (usually daybreak +30 minutes) about a year and a bit ago, for all that, take advantage of the perks, IE 99% of the time you can get there, pop most bungees, loosen straps etc, then walk over to the texas roadhouse and have a steak, go back to truck and still have 10-11 hrs before you have to work, if you need supplies, walmart is usually within walking distance, or another box store, pretty much all the places flatbed is not "supposed" to go to

This is kinda what I am hoping for. An alternative to the truck stops and free WiFi to boot.
    Thanks everyone for the replies!
