Had anybody worked for Carolina as a company driver? If so, how is the pay and overall experience?

 

I have been company driver under Delta for year and half. I have never sat without work or without my pay.

 

Average lease described here. No better or worse. The only real way to make money is to have your own authority, and that is what the op has reported he/she did. A paid for truck with an account with readily available cash for repairs, tolls, supplies is the only way to make this work.

 

Some may find a you tube channel interesting titled, "Adventures in Trucking." The author is an O/O named Jack Lundquist. He goes by the handle "Indiana Jack." No particularly detailed information about owner operations, however he does relay information from time-to-time. Entertaining fellow.
