Funny I've noticed it's the old timers who tend to be the ones kicking back and drinking a beer with one another in the parking lot when stuck somewhere like Laredo or Ontario over the weekend while the new breed is inside with their laptops in the restaurant gaming or posting on Facebook.

I'm sure everyone would agree with you. Drinking out on the road is illegal and foolish.

Drinking out on the road ISNT illegal... If someone wants to go have a couple of beers that there business... IF someone's on a restart and wants to go out on the town and have a good night whats the problem with that? Some of you guys are just haters cause you sit in your trucks and do nothing....LAMERS...

I think you missed my point. When you are parked you are not out on the road correct? I have zero issue with someone having a drink once the truck is not on the road.

You should use your head a little more if you're going to start name calling.

We'll what most truck drivers including myself consider "out on the road" is when your not on home time and your out working... That could be driving, sitting at a dock, or sitting at a truckstop.... That's "out on the road"... So what your referring to as far as drivers drinking while "out on the road" is when there in the drivers seat actually driving? Man I bet theres thousands of drivers that do this on a regular basis... Really? Get real...

You're kind of arguing with yourself.

I agree with your stance of having a drink when you're out on the road. Read a little more closely next time and don't name call or tell someone to get real.... because you're a little confused.

Sapp brothers Denver has very good food and accommodations west of the Mississippi but very little parking. Deno's on highway 6/85 has a good amount of available parking and has a bar open until 9:pM with a diner. Pilot is horrible, right off I-70 and 6/85 and it is always crowded. T/A, tough to find parking after 5pm,(unless 'reserved') with corporate puke food..

    Good-Luck!
