    If a given Injector is flowing 4cc min but supposed to be at 6 ( just bs numbers) expanding pulse to match given loss eilk correct it. Conversly an injector doing the opposite will attend the later. I hardly doubt cat ( not saying for sure) has the exact ratio of pulse width to Injector flow down. Meaning there could be more room for longer pulse given not washibg out cylinder.

    I know exactly where you're trying to go with this. You said CAT's are dirty engines. Well last time I checked, EVERY current diesel engine has EGR, DOC, DPF and SCR catalyst. So saying only CAT's are dirty is false.

    Because on-road diesels made up less than 10% of Caterpillar's revenue. Simply no money in it. Besides, non-road diesels are held to pretty much the same standards as on-road diesels. CAT still builds the C15 for off road use with EGR, a DPF and SCR (the DEF system).
