I’m looking for a descent shop in the southeast to paint my truck. Not looking to spend a fortune and need a fairly quick turnaround.

The price to just paint a hood are stupid. Was quoted $2500.
Try to find a place to do a wrap maybe? -
2500 is cheap. Not cheap to us, but nowadays cheap.. 10-12 k to paint the entire truck. Only thing cheap these days is getting a van load moved.

Farming Trucker, Siinman, W923 and 2 others Thank this. -
I know of 3 painters. Good, better, best. I can PM you their number, all 3 are in San Antonio.
A friend did “good”. Orange to red. Can see a lot of orange in door jams and such. Couple paint spots peeled. Looks really bad. Was $5k and 2 weeks.
I painted mine “better”. He removed everything, painted, then reinstalled. There’s about 100 paint drips where some rivets are. No overspray and I would say he did really good. Here’s before and after pic. Took 2 months and $8k.
Another friend did “best”. Paid $24k and took 7 months. It looks flawless.
Siinman Thanks this. -
I’d like to add that $8k involved removing horns, filling in holes, painted tanks and visor, and installation of the roof wing, exhaust, all 4 door handles, etc.
Siinman Thanks this. -

Nothing is good or inexpensive at rush.mtoo Thanks this. -
Jason runs the body shop over there and did an incredible job on my truck. The mechanics side of the location I’ll never deal with again.Siinman Thanks this. -
I’d bet it’s 15-20k for a cheap job now, mine was 12k 4 years ago or so? But I also went with the factor red which was expensive
white, black, blue and green are the cheapest colors
