well it pretty much is, just like Android is linux based but most dont even know they, they just know they have Android.
I got into gaming lately but on my phone, been playing some first person shooters on my note 4 like N.o.v.a 3, its actually pretty cool how well these phones play these days and how dang good the graphics are. I sure would love to see a 4k game come out for Android though to test those features out. -
Sorry I JUST saw this thread, I ran my desktop in the truck for a while, everything on page 1 is MOSTLY correct, vibration bad, power supply does NOT like square-wave power out of inverter (or the 14 volts while truck running), turning truck on/off will turn off power (in my case to the inverter, it smoothed out all but the the biggest fluctuations)
Liquid cooled is horrible for truck, too much potential for catastrophe
I made a wooden case to help with vibration, and it did, with the tradeoff that it couldn't shed heat without an ac vent hitting the intake
Power supply is in a new pc now, no worse than she was, but I didn't do pc in truck more than 3 months, granted it wasn't the best rig I've ever built but it worked and played games quite well for a 4 year old budget pc
(Inverter, cobra 1500)
if I did it again,
1, filtered sheet metal box
2. True sine wave inverter
3. Volt smoother (no greater than 12.5)
4. Mount for monitor that was move able (think dentists lamp)
5. Ssd not platter disks
6. Cut out cd drive entirely
7. Bluetooth native on mobo (play music etc via your trucks sound sys)
Or see about a really powerful "all in one" pc
