Desperate driver seeks owner operator to team with.

Good grief..Get your license and check craigslist..Plenty companies who will hire rooks. But I guess desperation is a helluva thing.

 

Thanks cnsper. I never thaught of it that way. It actually makes a lot of sence. Ive been a driver since 1991 and never actually had a trainer, so it never occurred to me. At least now I know why im having such trouble. Again thanks again for bringing that to lite and for being positive about my situation.

Thanks DTB. Im in contact with him now. Problem is company won't let me drive the truck till after I have my full CDL and after the orientation on around the 23rd. Trying to get on a truck now. Even if its just a drivers helper and lumper and so on. At least I will be on the truck and rolling and making at least some money. After I have my full CDL and not just permit. There will be a lot more doors open for me. But if I can get on a truck now. Then obviously I would be very grateful and stay with that driver as there co-driver after I got my full license.

 

Thanks again DTB. Have interview with the owners other driver on Wednesday at 1pm, at the pilot truck stop here in Hesperia,cali. If things go well, will probably start sometime after the 23rd. So now im just looking to tag along with another driver on a few of their trips. Between now and then. Who knows im might even make a couple of bucks, helping the driver. Hay DTB, wanted to let you know that everything go's well with mayflower safety i'll be flying to st. Louis for orientation on the 22nd.

Well DTB, I passed my drive and skills test at DMV here in cali. And I got the job for that lead you sent me. Thanks again. I leave out for St. Louis Saturday am. Can't wait to get back in the big seat after 10yrs.
