Was the accident in KY? If it was then the reason was because KY is a no fault state. Meaning no matter who is at fault no one will be cited. Your company will have it on record and can tell future employers about it.

You said you checked your PSP and your DMV. What about your DAC? Or if your company uses something else like DriverFacts? This is where you will find a complete listing of the "preventable" accidents your former employer is reporting to perspective employers. DMV only records accidents when there is a police report. PSP only records accidents if there is an injury or a towed vehicle.

They must do things different in KY. Where I'm from, if you turn left in front of someone, it's called failure to yield to oncoming traffic. The person turning left gets the ticket, if there is an accident.
