Hopefully u can get something worked out.Trucking is so unpredictable and does'nt work in favor for someone that has to be home on certain days.
-
Do you honestly think youre the only truck driver on earth that takes medication and need to be refilled on the road lol? -
-
pain managment dr's have to see thier clients you cant just order oxycodone like aspirin of course most carriers wont accept drivrs on narcotics
-
Well doc can see him every 2 months or change the appt day till after training and work with doctor on appt days and times.More ppl then not don't understand trucking. They fail to see that driving trk is not your everyday time clock job.You can't just get home at the drop of a hat.
-
If anybody is listening i was accepted by crst.does anyone know this company?
-
CRST is strickly a team operation. You going to be able to handle teaming with someone you don't know. They give you a chance to find someone and if you can't,they'll find you someone to team with.Guess the pay and miles are'nt there but yet they're a team company.Does'nt make since but then again trucking is a no common since carreer from the get go.

The first problem is finding any company that will hire a driver with a back problem. Especially one who still has pains. Unless you're some very rare case your back problem is very simple. I would say you have a bulging disc pressing against your nerve. What does your MRI say or have you had one? There's only one way to remove the pain and that's to go ahead and have the surgery to fix the problem. Of course you risk doing surgery but your back is not going to get any better. Plus as far as I know they have not come up with disc replacement yet so what they do is fuse the two vertebrate together to stop the pain. Your case, whatever it may be, is not new to the industry. What would be new is you getting a job with a currect back problem.
You would get a much better response here if you listed the medication you are taking. In fact it sounds like you'd get better information from this group than what you have gotten so far. Who's the doctor that told you that you have no problem and you just need pain meds the rest of your life? I think you need a specialist like a neurosurgeon to give you a true work up with the tests to back it up. If you do drive a truck you'll be taking a huge chance because any accident you get into which causes injuries you'll be at fault because of the pain meds. That's the facts.
