The ones I've seen posted on Craigslist are 1099. If they have ones that offer home weekly & benefits then we would consider it.
Do you have a good recommendation ?

No, I mean with US Xpress. Jade and Jon are a husband/wife team who drive for USX. They vlog their travels on Youtube. Really nice people, maybe you've seen them at a terminal. Check out their videos if you have time.

FedEx dedicated is a good account USX has but we're really happy doing Ceva dedicated. With the FedEx account, there is no extra time on the delivery schedule. It's a just in time delivery. Ceva allows us a lot of downtime, that way we get time to explore the cities we're in and still make a good paycheck. 90% of the loads with Ceva are under 15,000 lbs.....haven't slide a tandem, scaled a load since we started. We pull Ceva trailers & those are well maintained unlike US Xpress trailers lol. We do 5,000 to 6,000 miles easily but this account has a 4,700 mile guarantee which helped during February because of loads being canceled due to weather. This is a low stress account.

DriverToBroker, do you still drive ? Judging by your username I'm guessing no ?
-
I'm not currently driving but want to get back into it.

OTR or local ?

OTR or regional. Did local for a while but you get burned out real quick dealing with the constant city driving, traffic jams, tight docks, etc. Want a change of pace.TruckDuo Thanks this.

DriverToBroker, thinking about USX ? Looked at my paycheck for last week, we grossed $1,500 each. My biggest issue is that I wish the hometime was better.
dennisroc and DriverToBroker Thank this. -
My partner and I have done company otr for about a month now. We havent had an amazing week with hometime and having a little waiting time, but our checks have still been good. My partners excited about his training wage checks, lol.

I was at the Springfield, OH terminal Sunday....They had a 2015 Peterbilt automatic truck for a driver.
Guess the company is buying not just Cascadias but Peterbilts.
