    I know this is old but it's encouraging to see you hit that many miles in a week. We are hoping to get at least 5,000 a week.

    US Xpress just announced that they are re-instituting a 401K company match effective January 1 2016. Company results are improving and this is something all employees have been asking for.

    This reflects base CPM only, there are no bonuses for monthly mileage or days out included, correct?

    We're on a dedicated account. OTR drivers get bonuses for mileage and days out.

    you mentioned inverters to me over the phone. What is the policy with those? How much do you need to run a fridge

    Company allows up to 1,700 watts. Doesn't take much power

    Do you know what the requirements are to make the mileage bonus? It's a huge amount, so I'm a little skeptical about it. I've got 2.5 years experience currently, and my better half is currently in CDL school, and my goal is to eventually find a home for us to team. We are going to team at my current company, but the system here isn't geared for teams. So, we will just focus on getting her experience first. Thanks

    I don't know what the requirements are. It's been a long time since I read up on it. Honestly though, from what I remember it's more suited for two guys teaming. In order to make the bonus, you have to have no downtime and you have to stay out for a month and a half. It's hard to reach the mileage requirement doing OTR. Some places can take several hours to load/unload, not all loads are true team runs, some places will only take you by appointment which means you might be sitting around waiting. As you know, drivers only make money when the wheels are rolling so all that stuff isn't worth our time.

    Highly recommend looking into dedicated. Dedicated drivers make more money.
