We had a few 2004 sterlings with the old 12.7 detroits. They were the first year egr engines. I had one that would constantly stumble when you would try to downshift. You would pop the trans into neutral to rev it up and nothing. It sounded like it was missing. After i finally was able to convince our fleet manager that there was a problem he took it to detroit and they said the injectors were coming loose. I guess there was a tsb or a recall over this (this is what i was told). Not sure if it would still be an issue with your 07 but i have heard many guys with injector issues on the egr series 60's. Most were small HP 370's in single axles.

Thanks, one day I say injecter, the next day it's this, the next I think it's that and it drives you crazy trying to figure it out. It's just to #### cold around here for me to dig into it..

if the spring on the ck valve of ur return fuel line is weak it could be the cause of your problem
