Its about a mega companies. How about the company with a 100 trucks? I mean the mega has a huge resources, comparatively to small one. Could be this claim a serious problem to the last one? Theoretically...

And will be subject to back taxes like matching FICA plus penalties. All it takes is a phone call to the IRS. They have a task force that works exclusively to penalize tax cheats who missclassify employees as independent contractors.
Even if they are using the lease loophole.. Just look up a few megas who were sued recently and lost for exactly what I am talking about.

I was correcting the person for saying Knight/swift LOST the case. They settled, that’s not the same as LOSING the case. Saying they won the case would be just as incorrect as saying they lost -
