Detention pay

As you can tell I’m passionate about detention.

LOL

This load today paid ok at $1116.00 on 157 loaded miles. 2 skids tarped at 10k lbs. the $50 added .32 per mile. Heck that almost paid for the fuel.

Believe me I don’t win them all. Most of my detention was paid at $25, $50 and $100 increments. I try and be cooperative and I’m perty easy to get along with if there is headway being made. I start making noise when stupidly is running amuck!

Rant over. I’ll go away now. Home for the weekend.

 

Exactly the same story with me running under company name and the only one have contact with me the dispatch
But the thing need to know how the detention waiting count after the first hour or second hour and how much they should to pay for that $$
Don't know who to ask the broker or the dispatch in this case
And example what about if I have 2 pick-up and the first pick-up delayed me
For some time it will affect the second pick up time who's going to fix this issue ??
