Landstar got me good two weeks ago doing a Crain move was told be there at 10am at noon I realized that the one we where moving was not even broke down yet 999 crawler. When I called at noon to tell him it was going to be late if they even loaded me that day he said just keep up with your time, I didn't get loaded until 7:30 that day agent said he couldn't tell me anything on wait time until the job was over. Two days later the agent said he couldn't get anymore money I said I'd be happy with $150 he said sorry this customer we do millions of dollars with a year and they don't pay.....I was wondering why no LS trucks were there no I know why

It cost $1/hr to idle the truck the rest of the money should go to the driver and if you don't make enough on your loads where you have to tap in to detention then you are not making enough to keep your ducks in a row.Good drivers will not stay with you if you Nickel & Dime their pay checks. That is why you can't haul freight for the same price as the o/o driving the truck VS. Having a Driver working for you
