Well....
I wouldn't take less than $400. But, my pocket ace, pays it.
Most companies start at $10/hr after the second hour. So ~$340 for three days. But its a broker error so bill him for $500. -
$1500 for the 3 days.
lots of character Thanks this. -
The bad part is that was probably part of the broker's plan all along.
lots of character Thanks this. -
I really want to know your brokers details. $1500 for three days of sitting? Yikes.
I just cleared $1700 for 6 hours of DRIVING, not just idling. -
You'll be lucky to get $300 out of the deal. Broker's don't pay squat when it comes to detention, TONU, layover, whatever it is you might as well be talking to the wall.
Screw the brokers, pick up shippers and leave the brokers at there phones and computers.lots of character Thanks this. -
My policy is 43,50$ an hour for waiting time. All written and signed by whoever im hauling freight for.
Weird thing, maximum time I have been waiting is 3 hour or so.
You cant sit on a load and loose revenu because of poor planning.
And rolling coal might be right. Maybe broker knew it all along. -
We just ran into the same problem, were able to get $300 per day. After hours of fighting on the phone.
Not fun.
Best of luck -
