Nothing really close to me. I'll go to Napa or O'Reilly auto parts store. Just make sure i get the red, right

That sucks, as FleetPride carries quite a bit of stuff that we use all of the time out here if you work on your own equipment. They carry quite a bit that the dealers do, vehicle specific, at much better pricing.

Yes that’s exactly how you do it.
    flush out the radiator also.
I get the red at fleet pride but any automotive store should carry what you need.
If your truck has a water filter on it it is no longer required or used with the red coolant.

check the label of coolant. You will see approved manufacturers specifications list. The must be

    Detroit Diesel® 93K217

    listed on label.
your engine will be ok with *Detroit Diesel 7SE298* too but 93K217 specified coolant is much better.

Leave the water filter on the engine if equipped. With the red elc coolant just use a blank filter, not precharged.

Always a good idea to run a water filter.

    spsauerland Thanks this.

Won’t hurt to leave a water filter on but the largest purpose by far of a water filter is to keep the additive package up in the green cooling system.
Not much to filter out of a closed red cooling system.
When I took mine apart at 900,000 miles with red coolant the system was spotless and never has had a filter on it.

Thanks everyone. How many gallons of antifreeze in the 12.7? Also what's the difference between Peak final charge noat and the Peak final charge global. Peak final charge noat is 17.00 gal Pep boys and Peak final charge global is 11.97 Walmart or does it really matter.
