Ok 97 Peterbilt 379 low coolant light is on, it only turns off when I accelerate when I’m off the gas it buzzes, is their a way to disable it in the Ecm, I’ve already changed the wiring and sensor and I’m topped off with coolant.

Unplug it at the coolant reservoir. If the yellow CEL stays on, jump the plug with a paperclip. Should turn it off. Since you already replaced the sensor and wiring, results may be the same. Depending on how much wiring you replaced, it could have a break further away from the sensor. Usually break at the plug from the fan blowing it around when engaged or somewhere along the valve cover from age/heat. Sometimes the sensor gets coated with oil or crud in the coolant and only lasts a short while. If so, try cleaning it. I’m sure it can be disabled in the ecm. I personally wouldn’t. Mainly because of the cost, but also because it’s such a good safeguard against ruining the engine. They’re a PITA. I’ve had so many problems with them, I’ve often considered installing a switch to disconnect it till I can fix it. Unplugging it does the same thing.

Yea I tried it unsuccessful on the paperclip method, I check my coolant throughout week with a pre trip that’s why I suggested the disable at the Ecm.
