Detroit 60 Series - Loss of Power

How long since you've changed your Fuel Filters??

 

I have a 2000 Volvo with 12.7 Detroit. It was running fine then all of a sudden it lost all boost pressure. What could that be

 

First thing is check to make sure the actuator rod for the waste gate is still attached.

 

I did a overhaul on my Detroit and it idles good and shifts out good until I get to 8 9 it starts popping and black smoke comes out I tried to get the rpm up to shift to 10th and it got worse and shut off on me

 

I have a 2009 cascaidia 14 litre runs good mty will not pull a grade without loosing power ,freightliner put in 6000$ worth of injecters said that would give me back my power but they lied sounds like it suckling air or starving for air ,I have put on turbo,fuel pump dpf cleaned 3 times ,egr,5 different shops ,truck only putting 250 hp. But o pulled the exhaust pipe off the dpf and truck pulls without sputtering. Pls.help
