Detroit 60 series regen problem

Finally found the problem to code 3480/FMI 2 "Abnormal fuel pressure". The pressure to the fuel pressure regulator module was only 53-58 PSI. The system will not regenerate is the pressure is not between 72-85 PSI. There is a cartridge check valve in the high pressure fuel flange that was allowing fuel to flow both directions through the valve. Flow should be blocked from flowing through the nose of the cartridge, to the side. Unfortunately Detroit will not sell the check valve as a repair part. You must buy the complete flange. The part number for a DD13 is A470781044.
