    Hi everybody,
Let me start by saying I'm new to all this and appreciate any help y'all can give. I've got a 2000 Detroit Diesel 6067MK60 and I'm trying to find the part that's supposed to go where the aluminum foil is in the photo. Does anybody know what's supposed to go there or a part number to get a new one? Thanks. Series 60 missing part.jpg

I can't see much in the pic but looks like egr flex is missing IIRC.

Google the part # on the bottom piece

Thanks for the response Big Road Skateboard. I only have two pics to work with and can't make out what exactly the part number is. It looks like 2351xxxx which is still thousands of possible part numbers. Here's the second pic if it helps. Series 60 missing part 2.jpg

Is it the oil fill tube, but missing the lid/cap? Being that it is year 2000, don't think any egr engines were produced that early (unless some beta engine?)

    2nd pic much better

Is that not a filler neck? Not sure I've seen a 60 with a filler neck there, but it does appear to be.

    Oxbow and Rideandrepair Thank this.

Neither have I. I've only seen it coming up between the turbo and alternator.

The cap is missing. You gotta put your engine oil in that hole. Might wanna watch some YouTube videos about this engine to get familiar with it

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

I remember seeing some early 60's with them on the left. Way back. Never on the right

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.
