I’d run it till it blows! Lol. That can be risky though. Last Truck blew 500 miles from home, but it was using coolant pretty bad. Didn’t want to risk it this time. But they’ll run a long time slobbering oil like that. It’s pretty common.

lol. Run it till it blows. I did read about how they leak and with the blow by on these older engines. But when put together they run like a champ

My last one didn’t have any blow by for the first 50k after an OEM top of the line step 3 inframe. Then it came back. This one has a little blow by after the inframe. I’m hoping it goes away. I’m guilty of letting it idle too much. I’m sure the new trucks have it also. But you don’t see it because it gets recycled through the egr valve. 12.7s a great engine. Bottom half, crank, bearings are bulletproof. But plagued with blow by, and being an interference engine, if the bull gear goes out, possible major damage.

    Truckermick and Brettj3876 Thank this.

I wouldn't worry they all breathe a bit. Roughly 100k on the 93 since inframe and we have a bit of blow by. Not much at all doesn't need any oil between changes

We have a little drip cup on the end of the blow by tube held on by a bungee
