DEZL 560 Issues

I just purchased the DEZL 560 LMT. I am having issues with the Truck Profiles and the HOS features. It appears that in order to add a new Truck Profile I have to do a soft reset or it doesn't record anything in the IFTA Log. Once I figured that out I then tried to switch back to a previous Profile. That does not work. Spent over an hour on the phone with Garmin Customer Service who could not figure out the problem. The second issue is the HOS feature. Once I start it at the beginning of the day it seems to record everything as On Duty. Even when I pick off duty the Garmin sends a notification that I am over hours.
I have re-Installed the current Garmin Firmware version 2.90 and have done numerous Master Resets.
Has anyone experienced any of these issues. If so is anyone aware of a fix?
