I live in california so $28,000 a year barely covers my expenses over the road. what state do you live in? I am open to moving somewhere else...

you shouldnt be unemployed if you have a class A CDL unless you have a crap driving record. $28000 a year is what kids still in high school make working at mcdonalds in california.

I just found out after a year and a half with DHE they are not paying extra for hazmat loads! In there employee manual they gave me a year and a half ago they pay extra but I never saw it on my check stub! Another driver in ontario CA told me this morning and when I got to the yard, the weekend dispatcher confirmed it! I have been screwed over by DHE again! I will go to the labor board and bring there employee manual with me and get paid for these hazmat loads! Why am I still with this company hauling hazmat and making 28,000 a year and I live in california!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still thinking about going back to towing, $5,000 for truck school 4 years ago, to get hired on by all these bull ##### companies
