Ah, I should have said.... "No, but low blood sugar can and will kill.

High blood sugar for long periods can technically kill you also over time. On the short term it messes you up.

 

The problem i see with a lot of individuals are incorrect information that's passed down from family members who aren't current with the latest developments

 

I agree.

My GF is an ARNP and all I seem to hear about from her is the problems people have with diabetes.. I think the majority of her patients have it.

 

My mom has been insulin dependant for the past 22 years, she's currently on an experimental insulin pump, and is also in a program where she assists in medical research for new diabetic treatments. Sometimes they work, other times, not so much

Has anyone taught you that there is a cure?

I have to ask, Im not trying to give you a hard time. You would think with this condition there has to be a cure if the blood sugar will just stay at a value where required to be.

Also I have a thyroid disease. Nobody in my family has ever had diabetes. My thyroid causes mine.

 

So, thyroid = metabolism. Literally failing to burn the food you eat as fuel just when you need it. Beautiful ... not. No wonder you got it.

Have a drink if you are able. You go through more than some of us do in a life time.

 

It messed up a few other things also
