nice job..how long did it take you to tarp something like that?
-
about 30-45 minutes. i need to time it one day
-
you know it's not so much how much you get to tarp a load, at the end of the year you add it up and it looks ok....but it is all about how you look going down the road...and that looks sweet!!.....am i too excited about a tarped load of lumber??..lol
scottied67 and Papi1960R Thank this. -
hey that was an easy load to tarp it was all level. Just wait till you get the ugly lumber loads that look like a tetris game gone wrong and you wont be to happy.
I like tarping a load i consider it wrapping up my paycheck...scottied67, dieselgrl and Sam Hell Thank this. -
do you care to mention what company the other driver was from?...

schmud0811 sorry to hear about your truck! Thats is like hitting a mans wife! Sounds like you at least kept a cool head over the matter. Just cant help but wonder how this guy backed into you from the side if you were tucked in for the night? And then to take off like nothing happened!!!!!! Hope it all works out for you and your truck gets patched back up good as new! Thanks again for posting! Your an inspiration to alot of us newbies here!

I got tagged at the New Braunfels, TX T/A by an independent o/o a few weeks ago....with no less than 30 empty parking spots around me. He ran and I did the barefoot stint too- beating on the side of his van trailer with my load bar to get him to stop. He stopped, and when I though he was turning around to follow me back, he split. Made for an annoyingly long night. Only thing that saved my truck from damage was the extended frame - he hit my front drive tire and a bundle of dunnage I had strapped to the catwalk. Shredded my 1" ratchet. Straps though...grr.
scottied67 Thanks this. -
So for flatbedders, lets say Swift asks you to pick up a dry van load. After you drop that load off, how do you go about getting another flatbed trailer/load? I would assume flatbed and dry van will have particular lanes/routes they run, so how do you get back to the FB routes?
