Are you still doing local in Tucson/S. AZ? Went to Phx last week, all went well. I will start the week of Feb 21st. Can Swiftys park at DSW on Wilmot Rd.? Gave the recruiting office your info. Read the notice about referals on the orientaion classroom, but when i asked about you getting one the recruiting Supervisor mumbled something about me not putting you down on my 1st online app. Anyway PM me if your still here, I'll show you where some great mom & pops Mexican places are.
Gotta have the next two weeks at home as my son will be home from Afghanistan for 3 weeks after 19 months deployed(MP that speaks Phasto Farsi & Dari they keep him deployed, re-enlisting in A-stan as a linguist for$90K taxfree), he's saved $30K already, going looking for a Jeep or landcruiser. I told him buy me a used Columbia cash and I'll get him a new Jeep in June when he comeback stateside. Stay safe!

 

Wow what a great thread, I just finished reading the whole thing, I am currently waiting to get back to Gary for my two days of flatbed training, I was up there last week for Orientation and thanks to the Blizzard it was a real mess and the ended up canceling Flatbed training last Thursday and Friday. As far as I know I will be back up in Gary next week so I can get things finished up and get in line for a mentor they did tell us that where was a wait on Flatbed mentors.

I am really looking forward running flatbed, and living in my area there seems to be a lot of flatbed freight moving so we shall see how it works out.

When I was at TMC I could get in and out of Chi-town any time I liked. anywhere close to there is a great place for a flatbedder. My brother in law told me to stop by any time. He is in Calumet City right next to the Horseshoe casino. Park at the casino, walk over, he got tired of cooking me dinner. You can fall down from there and be at the Swift Yard in Gary.
