    Hey schmud,
Great posts dude. I drove skateboard for Arrow in 99-00. It is hard work and I was in shape from tarping, chaining, strapping and load securements. I have to tell folks though, you will be hot/cold, wet, sweaty and always dirty doing flatbed. I would not have it any other way. The best time I had was backing serpentine UP a landfill mound just outside of Little Rock to deliver casing to a methane outfit piping gas out for the city. The landfill mound was about 400 feet high and the road up was about a mile, all in reverse with a 48'

    Lots of fun

I hear you i love driving a skateboard but for so little pay, so many personal sacrificies it isnt worth it to me. I am on a load right now to pick up tommorrow and really dont even want to do that. I cleaned out most of my truck today. I also got a solid job offer in Alaska as a game guide. I just can't work OTR anymore for a couple shillings and allways being hassled for logs in crap:biggrin_25510:

I am surprised that you made 26,000 for a full year...in all honesty...I have made a third of that already this year.....don't turn anything down and run hard...my truck will run 70 mph...lol
