Got a level 2 in MN today. Weigh Station guy asked why do I run paper (my registration shows truck is 2000), told him it was built in 99. He checked the sticker on the engine, which said built in Nov of 99 and told me that I am all good.
It's funny how my other truck has the engine build of 01/06/2000 and has to be on Eld, but this one does not
Did anybody get inspected for ELD yet?

Sunday I had a level I at OK port of entry on I-40 East bound. He checked my ELD about 15 minute. Looks like he was experienced person. About 40 year old DOT officer.

Good to know. I have a 2000 with 11/99 build date on engine and data plate in door.Oxbow Thanks this.

That might not be enough. If I remember correctly Dune not only has a build date of 11/99, but more importantly an "Engine model year" of 1999. Is that not correct @DUNE-T ?
The regs state "Engine model year" not engine build date. I only mention this as you might run into an leo that gets picky, and the law is on his side....Studebaker Hawk Thanks this. -
His post said engine sticker says built nov of 99. Maybe he will chime in and let us know
