The only time you should leave your truck and go inside is AFTER you finished fueling AND PULLED FORWARD (assuming you can activate the pump from with a card at the pump). Hold your water until you pull forward.
Don't get in line to buy a Subway sandwich even if you've pulled forward if the pumps are busy. Find a parking spot.
I had a similar situation to the OP yesterday in Denton, TX at the TA. Waiting in line, but noticed an unoccupied truck behind the pump that opened up to my left. I jumped in that pump, fueled, pulled forward, used the restroom and got my fuel receipt, then parked for a 30. That driver finally pulled into THROUGH the pump without fueling, carrying a big sippee cup and fat molecule replenishment. -

You did right in my book!Keep'em 18roll;ng Thanks this.

I hope your kidding! Never mess with someone else's equipment!
-
Sorry! But you are in the wrong as well as the driver blocking a fuel island, two wrongs don't make a right, why stoop to someone else's level! Be the better man, the OP did the right thing, just pull ahead of him and fuel your truck, and move onpattyj Thanks this.

I'm going to assume in reality you would never do such a stupid act. That's beyond childish.yes he blocked the fuel island but no harm is done.Seriously guy how would you like someone doing that to you,or letting air out of your tires or pulling the fifthwheel?
-
Regarding messing with another driver's truck, that's a huge no no. Besides, if you really want to improve fueling times why would you disable a truck IN THE FUEL LANES?
pattyj Thanks this.
