    Run for CRST for a few months and get in good with some of the brokers. Once you do, and you get your own authority, u can just call them directly and get loads.

    Yes I have my plan and am solid....like i said I wanted to do this next year at this time

    Go on the FMSCA website and register for a usdot number. You will need it to license your truck, and when you get the authority, it goes as the same number. The registrant procedure is free, just make sure there are no typos on the application.

    shc, thats a good one, run for crst for a few months, lol.

    but most of their are probably just agents for crst and arent brokers in the true sense

    No issue then moving it up a year. Especially if you have the financial ground to stand on.

    You either pay your authority through someone else or go on your own.

    The other option is to work with BigBadBill for 12 months and learn the ropes a little bit then take off.

    I did use OOIDA and gave them my business line wich is never on (they warned me of this), they have my contact number if they need me

    I am past all that and have been operating for a while...I just switched to flatbed after 15 years swinging doors...never had a trailer always just leased on tractor...
