I have noticed the market at work. Places with low prices had higher demand and empty shelves, while places with higher prices (auto parts stores) have full shelves.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

I've had no problems finding oil at all and I buy all my oil and fuel filters in bulk so I have plenty of those as well.
Rideandrepair and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this. -
Delvac and Rotella in short supply at Walmart. Depends on the area though. Lots of OOs in the area- sold out. I’ve had luck twice at night, getting it off the pallet in auto service section before hitting the shelf. $13 gallon vs $30 at the Truckstop.

Simple supply and demand. I notice the discount sellers (Walmart, Fleet Farm, etc.) are perpetually short on supply, whereas the full MSRP sellers (parts houses) have ample supply on the shelves.
Oops. I just noticed I already wrote this same information yesterday....Rideandrepair Thanks this.
