Hi,
So I drive a tour bus at the moment, for a cruise ship excursion company. After the bus tour, the people get on a Unimog (the picture above) to go up the rest of the mountain. Well, I don't get to sit down in the Unimog. I stand up on the back platform (holding onto the frame), where I'm frequently inhaling the diesel exhaust, which has me a little concerned. I've done some reading on it, but nothing seems conclusive. This is a seasonal gig, and I've got about three more months, and I'm exposed to this exhaust a couple times a day, 5 days a week, at about 10-15 minute segments. I'll be upgrading to a CDL A later this year.
I was curious if anyone has any experience with diesel exhaust exposure that lead to problems?
