The big thing they push is protein intake and a low sodium meal..similar to the adkins diet...

I don't know what happened to Richard Simmons!
He was promoting his items and DIET plans for sale on HSN and QVC for awhile and then he just kind of faded.
Maybe everyone got tired of shaking their booty to the oldies!:smt033

Seriously I try to walk three or four times a week at a mile per shot, yup and the pups go with me, they love to guard me from the vicous crows and cats that roam the area and harass the unsuspected... -

I love to WALK and do some jogging....although the mosquitoes are so bad up here, they will pick you up and carry you to the next block.
MY DOGS hate OFF and will hide from me when I get the can out.
But I will not let them go without it.

Great info from all of you, my dad is a T2 diabetic and he uses the new stuff in place of sugar, Nutra?....its made from sugar but has no calories, and he has had no problems from it....
Lets give portland a big high five, I need to join the take it off wagon too....I am a carb addict...LOL -
My bigest problem is that I like my own cooking and need to put what I eat into balence...

When I get really stressed out I tend to lose alot of weight in a short amount of time. If I don't get a certain amount of sugar in my diet during the day, I get very dizzy. I eat a candy bar and that takes care of it. I have been growing alot of lettuce, tomatos, squash, cucumbers, greenbeans, and spinach to keep the food as fresh as possible. I try to cook stuff in my sun oven so that I don't have to run my stove when it is hot outside. It certainly saves on the electric bill.
