I think that the older transmission is an RT or an RTO, and the newer transmission will be RTLO or some other prefix.
Part of the difference is that the RT had straight cut gears, and the newer Transmissions have helical cut gears.
I think that is why on the RTO Transmissions you can hear them whine.
I think that is also why you can feel for the gears much better on the older Transmissions.
Difference in 13 speeds?

P=black
SP=blue
S=red
H/L=green
E=brown(not used & no line)
As you posted my knob has; E, R, F, & S. Which color goes to each? I’m assuming S(red) is supply and H/L(green) is for R(range) on the old style? SP(blue) is F on the old style? Have no idea what “P(black)” is for?
Here’s some pics of the lines on the back of my transmission there’s definitely more than two back there so just to clarify for me.Last edited: Mar 12, 2020

Im thinking
P= black is probably the one you cap/plug off. If it is the extra supply line it is not needed with the old knob.
Sp= Blue is splitter
S= red is supply
H/L= green is the range.
E= brown is the exhaust. Not used.
If it does not work like this after you swap the big hoses on the rear box try capping the green line putting the black one in its place on the knob.Last edited: Mar 12, 2020
Reason for edit: spelling -
On the hoses on the back off trans on the range slave you leave them alone on the supply valve on the top/side of trans and swap them on the slave on the box in your pic.
This is my 125-13. Just to illustrate the ones you wanna swap.Its a Different style valve but this should give you the idea of location. -

This cylinder you dont mess with. Just hook that little line coming from top to the R on the old style knob. It is the splitter.
