differences between US and EU trailer

    anyway 57' are rare and our drivers hate them.

    we use genrally EU 45' and US 48' here.

    Yeah, especially becking with 57' tail..... in limited lenth yards!

    17.5inch wheels 19.5?

    btw one strong europen trailer brand wants to introduce longer trailer

    length would be 14900mm that is 49ft

    and this one is multifunctional it is container trailer for normal dimmensions like 1x20rear 1x20 middle 1x30 2x20 1x40 1x45 and 2x7450 bdf bodies

    It is Kogel..... I sugest frame is really good.

    after 2002-2003 koegel trailers are crap before was one of best ones

    but i think scaniaman is talking about swinging of trailer tail during cornering this can damage other vehicles

    Yup exactly, I can see the sides been peeled off cars with those, maybe a longer wheelbase and steer axles to compensate might be better

    yeah but weight distribution would be bad

    i consider even today 13.6m trailers as too long

    and i can make new law i would back to 12.6m

    tail is too long trailers have problems with its length and bending
