differences between US and EU trailer

    really I saw how to convert trailer to b- double.

    But dolly axes are used too.

    Just a quick quote. How can anyone say anything good about a B-Double, it should be banned, it's the worst combination ever. Because the trailer is in the back you can never get any good wegiht on the drive. Also, alot of fun in the winter to get the wheels in to load/unload on the doubble. Either you are pushing it around because of ice or the hydraulics are jamed. And because you never can get any weight on the drive you never get it moving on some ice.

    If you really need more loading capacity get this

    One you learned how to back it up (not that hard after some practice, of course nothing can beat the original truck + dolly + trailer 25,25 combination), it's sooo much easier to use than a b-double and the weight gets where it should be

    i know that there is very hard to get anything above 22t on drive axle especially with this 6x2/4 tractor even with lifting axle hard to get load on drive

    but that is most stable combination

    worst thing would be to use 4x2 tractor and 60t that will push you too much

    or truck+2x central axle trailer like they have in NL

    are you able to back truck like in your picture

    can you reverse it only straight or you can steer?

    i dont know anyone yet who can steer it


    also i heard ( but not sure source) that they are not allowed in DK


    however you are right about truck+dolly+semitrailer

    that is far best combination good comfort good maneuverability easy to drive and reverse .....

    ok brand new model new engine and ....

    but truck cant be twice more expensive

    this shows inability of manufacture to make competitive product

    as much i can see cheapest version of new actros with 420hp smaller and narrow cab without retarder in euro5 norm is more expensive than average megaspace mp3 with anything and v8

    for example you can get very good equipped scania v8 engine largest cab automatic retarder side skirts xenon alloy rims for some 100 000-105 000

    basic actros new is 110 000

    belive me, Cascadia, that shares engines with MP4, with bluetec6 (EPA2012) is expencive in the USA too

    all right i will tel that new generation truck can be 2-3000€ more exensive

    and as much i know euro 6 over euro 5 will be 11000-12000€

    but where is rest?

    you can find decent euro 5 fleet tractor for 70000-75000€
