What do you get on that basic model? Which engine? Do u not get retarder? That's unbelievable , that's 10,000 more expensive than an r500 with topline cab, retarder, you can buy a new r480 topline with retarder in holland from a non scania garage for 87,000

I had 11 kogel box vans with double stacking bars inside, very good trailer although the first 5 had fibreglass roofs and we had problems with condensation inside, this was fixed with side vents, the rest were ordered with insulated roofs , they also had radar on the stop blocks that would apply the brakes just coming to the loading dock so you couldn't actually hit the ramp. They had anti roll over systems and knorr bremse ebs disk brakes. Another problem was cracking in the fibreglass roofs about half way back but that was easily fixed. The body structure was very strong, the first 5 had BPW axles and the rest mercedes axles, After that I bought shcmitz trailers, fridges without the motors but later ended up putting motors on 3 of them, the Schmitz were a good fridge cos the chassisless version has great loading height inside but I've always liked the chereau for strength especially with hanging loads and I like the style of the chereau.

i believe that this standard is made for our drivers

most of drivers here dont use straps for securing load and most of trucks drive off highway so lot of serpentines bends and so on.....

now by this standard tarpaulin must withstand full payload

berger with thin tarpaulin was certified up to 28t of drinks.....
