    is there any standard?

here some people use 105cm height and with air ride they adjust it to other type of trailers and get more flexible truck if they need to use them sometimes with other trailers

    also adjustable 5th wheel exist

There was a foam manufacturing company that had some trucks and trailers with really small wheels. The tractors themselves had a way to raise the fifth wheel to tow a standard trailer. I wish I had pictures.

Actually saw on in holland last week, it was an lzv ( straight truck with 45' trailer) I think it belonged to 'van der wijk' the trailer had wheels no bigger than 15 inches in total, I never thought it possible to have truck wheels that small

They were probably not much different. They were 6x4 International cabovers.

You would have some volume in one of those and your 53' trailers
