however most of them are shorter up to 65-66 ft because longer require active steering axles to be accorded turning radius law also height is 4.5m so i guess nothing in world cant beat them in volume....Scania man Thanks this. -
One good thing of US trailers... they share tires with trucktors (22.5 ore 24"), so I can get on spare tire only and use retread trucktor tires on trailer

maybe you can see it better on this image
it use 385/65r22.5 all round with 120mm offset rims
driver says 5% of better fuel economy , and 385/65 are cheaper than 315/80...scania approve 9ton per axle

not bad. really here we use to convers US trailers to single tires.

and which rims do you need? -
1. use super single tires rims with narrower 385 width tires
2. swap hubs and drums with european ones -
as for new actros i just read that they will use electromotors on front axle for additional drive
i am not sure about this water and electrical stuff wont work together i think hydraulics is better -
cascadia got r'n'p steering and owners got into troubles.
