Thanks so much siri. I started out young, raised my kids etc all when I was driving. When my kids were little I stayed local, but it was the best way to put food on the table & make the money I needed to keep them fed & clothed & the rent paid. I was a single parent till my oldest was 15. What was termed "women's work" in those days most certainly didn't pay enough to do all that! :) I wasn't raised to be the "traditional" woman, so trucking was always a good fit for me.

About the co-driver...Sorry, but I don't share my truck with anyone but Mandy...she's in my avatar...I always say I don't like people enough to share my truck with them... :) I won't even run double with my husband! I love him too much to subject him to that & actually WANT to stay married to him!

Yeah I hear ya. I can relate....I'm a lady too.....just wish when I was a single mom I would have had the opportunity to do it that way too. I did the same only I did "woman's work" and it didn't pay...boy howdy. If I couldve done this I wouldv. And I can completely relate to and understand stayin married this time. I was just tryin to figure a way to get up there into it..bein by myself and all. Later, thanks for the response.

Which company are you leased onto Wildkat?

Very beautiful pictures, thank you for sharing them with us.

You have my dream job right there. I love running in the north, less traffic and no congestion, and I love to see the world in a peaceful state, and you can't find that anywhere other than up north.

ThanksTank, I am leased on with TransX for the time being, their rates are way too low for the far north, but the economy is pretty tight right now, so once things improve I'll be moving on. I like the work, just not the pay and I really don't like working for such a big company, way too much BS for my taste!

That's OK siri, I just don't know how you'd get yourself to Edmonton! I'd be happy to take you along for a trip on day...just not till spring tho, winters are pretty brutal up here & I wouldn't want to expose someone who doesn't understand that & the isolation of the fasr north to that!

Yes photobucket has a huge amount of options for slideshows and you can get previews before you save them. I noticed you had tagged my account. I don't get alot of time for regular updates, but I do when I have time.
