Thank you for sharing the beautiful photos, all the more beautiful as they were taken from behind the wheel. Very inspiring!!:biggrin_25514:

Thank you! Funny my daughter, who is a photographer, always gives me grief about how all my pictures have the hood of my truck in them! :biggrin_25523::biggrin_25523:

    "Grief"?! :biggrin_2551:
    Good-Grief!

Without the hood, they'd just be postcard
quality photos. IMO, it's the Pete's hood that
makes your photos a cut above the rest.
And all the more appealing to Big truck truckers.

    Please!
    Keep the hood. :biggrin_25514:
That hood makes your photos FEEL good as
    well as LOOK good. :yes2557:

    **(And, for what it's worth --- I'm a former
    MotorSports photographer.
    And equestrian, too.
And portraits as well, but I DON'T do
    weddings and anymore.
    NopE! :biggrin_25512:
I cry at wedding --- making it difficult to
    focus.
But I DO miss the champaign. :biggrin_25525:

    You too ? :biggrin_25524:

    WhEW!
I thought I was the only one. :yes2557:

While we're on the subject, --- did y'all viewin' these photos find yourselves reachin' for the gear shifter to drop a gear, or two, on some of those foggy, narrow curves?

And how many viewers out there would like to
see a photo of the entire Big truck that Wildkat negotiates on those roads?
I figure she MUST get outta her Big truck every now and then.
    How 'bout it, WK?

I, for one, would appreciate seein' what I'm imagining I'm drivin' with you.

On a good day, I can even HEAR the engine, the Jake, and the turbo splindlin' up,........ And on a REALLY good day, as I sit in my high-back, rolling, reclining, multi-tasking, executive computer chair, with arm rests properly adjusted, height set correctly, with my feet planted firmly on the floor, under a roll-top desk --- which supports this computer's CPU, printer, and flat-screen monitor ---- I imagine I can feel the torque of that Big truck's Big truck motor.
    Gawd I LOVE torque!!!

And, a favor, porfavor? Could you include more of the dash, and gauges -- gawd I LOVE gauges! --- from time to time?
That would be chocolate icing on a triple-chocolate cake,....... or cupcakes,... your choice.
    MY treat.
    All y'all can eat ......
and some take-alongs for those breathtaking northern roads.
    *( That's why I was thinkin' "cupcakes".
    A tad handier.
    With napkins, of course.
But now I'm thinkin' both. )*:biggrin_25525:

Now, I have no idea how many words I just typed --- and I'm too durn lazy to go back and count.
But y'all just got my condenced version.
    Imagine that!

I reckon it'd be pretty easy to run up 1000 words ----- :evil3::smt100......... but WhY?
The picture(s) will STILL be better. :yes2557::biggrin_25514:

I wish y'all clear skies and sunny weather, and complete cooperation from and by ALL mechanical parts --- AND internal parts too.
    Thanx and Best Wishes. :salute:

I will try to remember to get some of the gauges & stuff.. I haven't taken any pictures of my truck recently cause right now it's just filthy & I'm embarrassed to take any!

At the end of August my daughter (the photographer) is coming along for a ride, so I'll get her to take some good shots of her!

Here's one of my dash last winter:

    I was crossing this river:

Which becomes this at the end of the season:

And believe me the 2.5 mile crossing seems REALLY REALLY long!

Then in summer we cross on this:

    My last trip to Whitehorse:

    Muncho Lake:

And since it doesn't really get dark I thought this looked kind of cool...at 2 am:

    Some buffalo on the road!

    Some scenery along the way:

And for those who requested it....my WHOLE truck!

I seem to recall someone asking for a dash picture!
