The Ice Roads aren't so bad, speed limits are very low (15 mph), so you can't get into trouble, the noise it what gets alot of people cause the ice moans and crackles alot, but that's just cause it flexes as you drive over it. It's when it DOESN'T make noise is when there is trouble.

It's all what you get used to! :biggrin_25525::biggrin_25525:

WK thanks for sharing the ice and western pics. I run out of the states and go as far as Ontario (shortcut to Michigan), Quebec (as far north as Sorel-Tracy and Quebec city), and New Brunswick. if my company has frieght going further west then these Providence's they have our Canadian sister company (B.T.T. out of Kingston, ON) haul it.

Once again thanks for sharing your pics and be safe out there.

Wildkat your pictures are making me wonder why I ever moved back down to the lower 48. I lived outside of North Pole Alaska for years and really miss it.

I should have sent my husband up to Alaska fishing before we bought this farm. I am 100% positive we would be living there now. He loves his fishing trips up there so much and is constantly talking about selling this farm and moving up there.

    (Pun intended)

Thanx for thinkin' of us and postin'
those pictures. They're a treat for us
to see on this side of a monitor.
But I'm thinkin' most of us would freak-out
if we saw that view from behind a windshield.

Be careful out thar, gurl! :biggrin_25525:
