I can't take credit. First I heard that was a Jeff Foxworthy "you might be a redneck" joke.

I'm jealous. I wish mine was only $15k! You do pretty good with that setup though......right? I don't hear you complain about it much. The market aside, if you were to replace it.....what would you get?

    In order:
    Western Star 49xx
    KW W9L
    Pete (hood of some sort)

Fine with E-logs and EGR, but want old enough to miss DPF and DEF. Whichever one I get, it's going to be my keeper until laws change to the point that it forces me to buy a newer truck, or forces me out. And yeah, I do okay. Truck does the job. Sucks being stuck in something for weeks at a time that's the size of two seats and a twin mattress though.

Edit: I also want a 12.7, because I can easily rebuild it in my driveway.

I like those western stars 4900. However, they are hard to find decent in the states.
I forget the guy, but he has a nice one of a vintage I like. Posts in the pic section here. I believe his is black......nice truck.

Studio is a name, marketing point. A gimmick. Has less value than a Z28 or GT. They actually designated something different. Your ls, lt, ltz.

Bentz, Eagle, Mercury were, are custom aftermarket sleeper manufacturers. Not many truck manufacturers built sleeper in the 70's even. It was a option like your brand of tires.
