The worst parts are disrespectful shippers and receivers. Treating us like some lower form of life. I'm so glad I work for myself because the mere thought of delivering to a Wal-Mart DC makes my blood boil. All it takes is once and I will never again pick or drop at anyplace that blatantly jerks me around or mistreats me.

My other major pet peive is brokers that set up delivery appointments that are impossible to make legally and then argue that I'm wrong when I tell them I couldn't do it in a car let alone a truck across the mountains.

Having to live down the image some of these disgusting slobs project of our profession. I wash my ### daily, I might skip a day here and there but that's it. I dress appropriately in clean cloths that don't stink. It amazes me how little pride some of these slobs have in their personal appearance. It makes the rest of us look bad.

    It's not that bad yet.

Back in the 80's I did temp work supposidely for warehouses but actually stuck in the far back of stores in precess of being demobilized, closed ir actually maybe ein opened daily to see what loads we can run. That ketp me awake on the trucking side.

Being young and 140 in my day back in the 80's meant I can get under the truck etc. None of that matters when you are in a back of a Savelot, rite aid etc. trying to move a piano with a rew working one man short. YOU. IM 6 feet, It;'s lack of beef and eight that really mattered to these kids.

I proved I can move 4 pianos they move pianos all day hence I need to be sent home and a replacement at least as big as the crew stands or biger

Sorry to hear about your health. What would you like to drive (if not a Truck)?

If I ever do drive anything it would be a van hauling railroad crews.
