No it's not that,it's trying to lecture me in the process, I don't care for that....not saying you tried to lecture me, but others get on their high horse and think they can

Yes I would have, cause it's the law.

You can bet you butt I would have been looking to see if that fuel tank ruptured or if there was damage to the under carriage that made the vehicle unsafe; regardless of who was driving.. Tell me it's not your problem as your being ejected from a vehicle that wreaked because of structural damage or your being burned alive because that fuel tank ruptured and later ignited.. I am sure the Paramedic that scraps you up will right that on his trip report 'Patient died from "Not my Problem"'

As you say, you asked what *WE* would do and then get indigent because it's not what you would do. Don't call me a liar because what I would do it's not what you would do.

didn't call you a liar, and no there was no damage to the full tank, again get off the high horse. It was a simple question, no need to divulge into theories based on your assumptions. Thank you

That was calling me a liar. So far you are the only one who seems to have a holier then thou attitude. You ask our opinions on what we would do. We didn't agree with what you did, so immediately we are ALL wrong..

Do what you want? I will continue to do what I am supposed to do..

Maw asked who ate the ice cream and one of you is holding the carton and the other has ice cream all over his face. I would hand the carton back over. :)

Only thing worse than a rat is your so called buddy is willing to let you take the rap.
Give him the ultimatum of standing up like a man and accept responsibility. He can't stand up for a simple accident, what else will he hide? Sounds like one of them that runs after an accident. We don't need that type on the roads.

(unless you own the truck you are not doing the 45 min pre and post trip inspection.)
[/QUOTE] Even if you don't own the truck you are required to do the inspection. If this is the way you run don't come around Va cause I don't want you on the roads I drive. Sorry if that ticks you off but...
And I'd tell the boss what happened. If I was the boss I'd a fired both of you because nobody told me the truth. Man up even if it gets you in trouble.

dude......"A dude is an individual, typically male, particularly somebody well dressed or who has never lived outside a big city."

if anything, i was being polite to you, you horses arse.....

or are you a "dudette"....."The female equivalent, which is used less often, is "dudette"...........

you came here asking for help, you got it, you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.....

i hope now you get it crammed up your arse, and soon too, if not for this problem, but for your next "event"........

you seem to have that, "i don't care, he was driving" mentality, when YOU SHOULD REALIZE, the truck is assigned to BOTH members of a team....

you pretty much lost anything you might have gained when you first came here, i hope you enjoyed your short time here.

you may now kiss my arse.........:biggrin_25522:

Years ago I ran team and we did our truck inspections just a little different. When we shut down we both walked next to each other to do the truck inspection. We would look at the same items and come to the same conclusions. After going through the entire truck we knew what condition it was in and if we had to make any shop stops. When a driver stopped after some time driving they did another truck inspection and would write down the difference from before. We never got stuck on the side of the road for something real stupid and the trucks stayed in pretty good shape. Sure there were times when a problem would come but they were settled quickly and most of the time to everyone's likely. No finger pointing because items do break on the road. It made us all better drivers because we all got to learn which components fail the most and we would carry that spare part.

You can still do this even if you have a co-driver that never looks at the trucks. Do it for yourself and keep logs. Maybe if you're lucky the other driver will see how professional you are and start up himself.
