    295/75/22.5. I'll have to measure them tomorrow.

    I think you might have used the wrong formula. Try 1826.76 x number of teeth on the tone ring x 80. Then divide answer by 3600. See if that works better.

    I don't think the number of teeth is the problem in the equation. You said 87 and I think that is to many. Now what is the difference in using the other formula I came out with the answer right away? I know the ppm

    No 87 teeth was for the other formula (to calculate transmission Revs per mile. In your case it should be 1826.76 RPM). You then input your transmission Revs per mile into the other formula (transmission RPM x Pulse Per Rev. of the sending unit x 80 mph. Divide answer by 3600. To calculate the answer you need to solve 1826.76 x PPR of driveshaft x 80 divide answer by 3600. PPR should be the number of teeth on the tone ring that the speed sensor reads. You'll actually need to count them.

    :banghead: I don't mind math but this algebra stuff is to much for me...lol.... So I have to find out the number of teeth in the tail end to solve the equation. ....I'm done.

    The tone ring should be right behind the output yoke, on the outside of the transmission housing. It looks like a ring with square teeth.

    We can look at this another way possibly. Assuming 25428 PPM you calculated before is correct, lets divide 25428 PPM by 1826.76 Rev Per Mile. That should give us 13.92 pulses per revolution.

    1826.76x13.92x80=2,034,279.94

    Divide that by 3600 = 565. Does that look like it works out?

    Edit: 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9 should be closed according to the chart. (Again write down what you have it set at already in case its wrong)

    565 is what I came out with using formula "F". You said in the earlier post not to use that one. Are you just trying get my brain to get its exercise ? Man..... I think it work. I'm smarter now ......lol

    565 says to close S2, 5,6,7,8,10. Are we reading the same page ?
